Hello All! Amazingly, we are just three months away from our Holiday Train Show (November 22-24)!
Among other things, that means we have a lot to do if we are going to host another fundraising event for the Milltown RRRR station move, and rehab.
Our minimum needs are below. Please let me know where you see yourself helping.
Vendors to rent tables
Train Groups or individuals that will set up models/displays of running trains
This year volunteers for set-up and tear down are especially important, as we won’t be able to get into the new location until after Bingo on Friday night (probably around 10:00 – 10:30) and everything will need to go up stairs or in an elevator. Good news is we are paying to have the place cleaned and the tables returned to their proper location so we won’t have to deal with that Sunday night.

Beyond this there are many aspects of the show that need to be worked on, raffle gifts, door prizes, brick sales, RRRR sales, theme, possible addition of a craft area, new ideas, publicity/promotion, flyers, food, music/entertainment, RRRR presentations/talks, decor, and community involvement.
I will be at the meeting tomorrow night (8/15/2013). Jim Reid is also available to come if that makes sense.
Thank you for your continued dedication, enthusiasm, and carrying of our little station that needs a new home and a bright future!
